The IC500e location device

The IC500e location device, placed on or within the asset you want to locate, is an independent, stand-alone system with its own individual long-life power source.

Advanced low power management ensures extremely low consumption, enabling the device to operate for up to three years on just six AA batteries. You can also check on battery status of each unit via the ICThings.com website.

The compact and robust design makes it easy to conceal away from prying eyes. Measuring just 52mm by 175mm by 91mm and weighing just 420 grams including batteries, the device can be hidden out of sight in the smallest of places. There is no complex installation required: the device has high power magnets to achieve easy attachment on or within the mobile asset.

The device has an advanced casing with IP67 protection classification ensuring it is both waterproof and dust tight.

Location status and alerts

Location status and unauthorised movement alerts can be requested via text message, with useful and practical positioning data including street names.

The device allows a virtual security shield to be placed around your mobile asset to warn of unauthorised movement from a predefined zone. It also incorporates an integrated motion sensor that alerts of any prohibited actions such as movement by low-loader or towing.
